About

I am an experienced Pediatric Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I completed my Lactation training through the University of California, San Diego, interning at the Lytle Center for Pregnancy and Newborns at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. At the Lytle Center, I became comfortable managing a range of complex feeding concerns, and honed my skills in infant oral assessment.

Post training, I have worked with breastfeeding families in a variety of settings including the Mother/Baby unit, Neonatal Intensive Unit (NICU), Outpatient clinic, and Emergency Department.

Many Lactation Consultants have a focus on the pregnant or lactating parent; however, I bring years of experience in caring for infants and children as well as lactating folks. While I consider my practice holistic, integrative, and rooted in the belief that birth is a physiologic process, I am also comfortable working with families who have medical needs.
